Yoga Classes in Armadale, Yoga Centre in Armadale

Over the years we immersed ourselves in the powerful, trans formative practices and methods of various yoga traditions with the guidance and blessings of our teachers and gurus. It was with this intent we created the Kookaburra Creek Yoga center and our immersive retreat program. Mandy was initiated into a tantric yoga tradition at the age of 20 and has practiced and taught yoga for 25 years. She is a natural leader and in her professional life was recently CEO of a health concern notforprofit organization. He has dedicated his life to teaching and sharing traditional yoga and built and founded Kookaburra Creek Yoga center in 1998. Robert has a Masters degree in Social Work and works professionally in the field. She has studied with renowned masters, and spent a lifetime learning, integrating and sharing. She is a spontaneous leader and in her professional life was an Editor, Designer and recently CEO of a health care notforprofit organization. Mandy is deeply committed to creating sound and sacred spaces for participants to experience the wonders of yoga both at Kookaburra and on retreats around the world. Kookaburra Yoga's classes at Kookaburra Creek Yoga center and on our retreat programs are informed by both the customary teachings and unused approaches ensuring they are relevant, accessible and safe for all levels of practitioners. Yoga and meditation classes for all levels. Being guided in yoga and meditation classes, accompanied by the sounds of the kookaburras, crickets and the meandering creek, brings peace and balance to your internal world. At its maximum fundamental level, hath Yoga was originally intended to bring the body, comply and spirit into harmony and balance so the deeper practices of Rama Yoga could be done with greater ease, leading the practitioner towards liberation. In modern times our goal may be different to strive for flawless health, to be well, to cope with stress, to find a enduring internal quiet and spiritual purpose when there is a clear goal in mind, yoga provides the pathway toward attaining it. In Kookaburra Yoga's hath Yoga classes, the practices taught are of 4 types which align with and bring into focus the values and characteristics of Conventional Yoga thereby leading us towards an integrated and correct experience of yoga. When practiced regularly and sincerely Yoga has the potential to bring us into harmony and balance, bring healing to the body and mind, and experience the beauty and potential of our true nature. Traditional Yoga is a holistic system for the body, obey and soul comprised of four paths which, when integrated, bring balance and harmony to our intellect, heart, body and mind leading us towards a deep experience of our true, blissful, divine nature. Actions done with attitude of service without attachment to result. Prayer, ritual, kirtan and loving kindness. Study of yogic texts and also of your own self. Develops intellect and aptitude to discern truth from untruth. Meditation is an experience of our correct nature, brought about through the practices of Rama Yoga which bring serenity and control to the thoughts and emotions, leading to internal stillness and joy. center directors Robert Becker and Mandy Becker Knox have decades of experience practicing and teaching the subtle, potent and transformational methods of yoga. They ensure classes at Kookaburra are taught in a conventional manner to gently guide students to experience the balancing and healing potential of yoga.Teachers at Kookaburra are trained in a variety of styles bringing diversity to the timetable of classes offered.
